Puro Handsome Barbershop, San Antonio, TX. 

What I expected was a simple barbershop shoot. What I got was technically difficult, with mirrors, mirrors, mirrors. But, what I also got was something I discovered.

The barbershop is a neutral zone, so to speak, for many men. There is an intimacy between men, a delicate place where the machismo facade is let down. There is pride in this craft. But what happens is surrender and vulnerability. It was touching and eye-opening.
